they binned rear arch liners, i think it was still seperate shocks n springs, where top of shock bolts on looks like it will get covered in mud, the under seal misses that bit out as well i only had quick look, might go back with proper camera, that was just with phone
I had a quite a good look under a active sport in the dealership (people were quite stunned, and those buying new cars there and then were asking if there was anything to report, I replied 'just like a punto oughta be'..........'cheap and basic').
From what I could see, it was torsion beam rear sus with seperate dampers and coils, and the damper was in a speed mound (you know the square ones) scraping position, and had exposed bolts, and one of the dynamics was missing part of its lower shock bushing .
All looked a bit cheap, and I don't know how they have done it, but it looked cheaper and more built down than even a mk1 under there!! All the clips and such were prettty natty and breaky breaky style. Hopefully the abarth and sportings will have some form of non-neolithic suspension under there
