There are several cars around on the road at the moment, especially around Slough, they are the press cars. First impressions from the Fiat Intro Training Course is that the build quality is really good, panel fit is excellent and the whole car is very solid. The doors have a nice deep clunk when they close, its a very nice sound that we havent heard on fiats. The cabin trims are bright and roomy and the dash is clear and looks great. The seats are very comfy and the steering wheel is height and reach adjustable. Passenger airbag is switched off via the on board computer so no problems with exclusion switches on this Punto. Vented discs on the front of all but 1.2 models. Engines available at launch are Petrol 1.2 8v, Petrol 1.4 8v (variable valve timing to improve economy), 1.3 Multijet 16v 75bhp, 1.3 Multijet 16v 90bhp, and 1.9 Multijet 8v 120bhp.
A 130 bhp 1.9 diesel will be on its way soon and a 1.6 16v TURBO Petrol 180bhp will be on its way soon as well.
All the DETs and Techs are very impressed with her and its very nice to be enthusiastic again about a Fiat product. Ours is sitting in the showroom, and every one that has seen her has fallen in love with her.
WE HAVE A WINNER
