Hi, I’m going to replace the clutch on grande punto 1.2 petrol 2007.
I was thinking while it’s apart it might be worth doing the rear crank seal too.
Can Anyone please advise if the flywheel bolts have to be renewed and what is torque setting please?
Also do the clutch pressure plate bolts have to be renewed and what is torque setting please?
Thank you for any help.

Hi

The bolts should be ok to reuse..

Ive not got a GP manual..

But as long as you are quoting M6 not M8 bolt figures.. you wont go far wrong

On my last flywhhel change.. Uno..Haynes very helfully had the M6 figure on one page and the M8 over the page with the photos.. yes we sheared the 1st bolt we tightened..

Just had a look in the Haynes manual.

I can confirm it gives the same values as eLearn for the 1.2 engine ...

Pressure plate retaining bolts 15 Nm
Flywheel bolts 45 Nm

... and there's a "do not re-use" note against both too.

ELearn says the bolts are pre-treated with sealant. Some sort of thread-locking compound perhaps?
