Hi, i was wondering if anyone can help, having a problem fitting the driveshaft to a 1.4 t jet grande, it just doesn’t seem to be fitting as if it’s the wrong part but it’s not, does anyone know of any issues with them? cheers

Which end are you having trouble with?

New drive shaft? or refitting drive shaft you removed for some reason?

Why did you remove drive shaft?

More info please.

i’m trying to fit a new shaft, it’s for the drivers side, i’ve been to my parts store ajd this is the correct one for the car but it doesn’t seem to be fitting.

The old one has snapped and i have removed it fine but this new one doesn’t seem to fit

Have you compared the old part and new part for differences?

Which end are you having trouble fitting?

Which country are you in?

Always compare old and new parts!

It is not uncommon for parts to end up in the wrong boxes .

it’s the driver side that’s the issue, they both seem the same. i’m in the UK, i have read that the drivers side on a t jet is built into two diff bits and the normal grande is into 1.

I don’t know if that’s my issue, also my car is lowered i don’t know if this makes it a problem

Are you having trouble getting the end into the gearbox or the wheel hub?

Lowered Grandes eat driveshafts.. have built an appetite over 15 years ;)

Which joint .. ?
The Tulip..at gearbox

Or C.V. at wheel hub

If you take the 2 bolts out from suspension strut to hub.. the hub will swing outwards.. giving access
