Newbie here ? 07 Fiat punto grande / the previous owners had fitted Xeon lights. Anyway - the back lights are not working properly, the indicator light stays orange but does blink when indicating. It’s like they all need replacing... I’ve tried replacing all bulbs but that didn’t work, is there something that needs replacing like a switch or fuse? Now to the aftermarket xenon lights. I want to go back to standard... is this easy? ? novice here, not a great machanic ?

Ok great, thanks for the info... do I replace the plug maybe, when I turn the ignition on all workings come up, like “check running lights” check lhs light check rhs lights etc... so would a new plug fox the issue? And as for the xonon lights, there’s an aftermarket kit that’s been added, so I guess I’ll need to remove the kit and then put standard bulbs in?

Rub the wiring contacts so they are shiny
Emery boards are good ;) or just with a flat screwdriver..

And put the Hazards and parking: side lights on as you reconnect into the light..

A bit of wriggling should get them all working

Headlights.. check they havent butchered the wiring to the 'bulbs'

xenon generally means just a bulb change, I prefer to use xenon rather than halogen they just have a better whiter light and are mot friendly.

as stated by others, the rear light suffer from very poor connection via the plug to the light board, on one of mine it was that poor that I hard wired the wiring loom directly to the board, extended the wire a bit to allow it to be pulled aay from the car to change bulbs, took me about an hour and you would need a soldering iron.

I did wonder about buying a new plug, but they are very dear for what it is, what about cutting a plug off a scrapper? again it might be corroded, so thats why I went hard wired.
