I have a friend with a 2006 GP (199) 1.2 8v , with a few problems:

1/.The headlights often don't turn off, as there's no water in the fusebox, I 'm guessing its the combination switch, but the s/h ones often come with a warning that they might need coding to fit the car. Is this the case?, & what is involved?

2/. Neither rear door will open properly from inside or outside. It appears to be the locks, are replacement locks from other Punto models compatible?

3/. This one really stumps me - Yesterday the engine would no longer turn off - turn off the key, &remove it, the dashboard etc goes off s it should, but then engine keeps running, properly. (not 'running-on' because of burnt valves or anything dire like that). Any clues for this one??

Thanks for that, but it's definitely the lock mechanism, the blind rivets holding the actuating rod in place have worked loose & dropped out.
