Was looking through this guide a few weeks ago but only just noticed the rubber seal in the first picture (outlined it below). Did that come on all GPs? Mine doesn't have one, it's just the 1.2 Active.

Is it something I can buy, does it have a specific name?

Thanks in advance :)

Hi..
Its a rubber strip.. not dissimilar to the door seal strips

Thick soft rubber cushion..and a steel clip section that grips the bodywork

On a 199 punto..
It clips over the plastic scuttle trims..

But its a poor fit..
My 2012's just came loose

The older mj's were already removed..or loose

Charlie

when I got mine it wasnt fitted but there was evidence that the scuttle plastic panel had been off so the rubber strip was probably just left out

I got one from a used fiat spares place, it will help seal in the engine noise to the engine bay

like somebody has said, they arent a great fit, but some pliers can easily crimp it tighter in a couple of places and once its fitted there wont be a great need for it to be disturbed.

Mine looks like this: Link you can buy different sizes online for not too much

Please note I haven't checked the one in the link is the right size

I was looking at these on eBay too, thinking one of them would do the job. They're pretty cheap so I'll probably go this route and see how it does.

Cheers mate.

Just as a quick update, I bought this one

and it seems to fit well. Will just see if it comes loose over time.

Cheers all.
