Good morning everyone,
I bought my son a Grande Punto about 3yrs ago.
1.6TDci Sporting.. lovely car, but one on going issue!

Every now and again the ABS light comes on, and you get the warnings for traction control not working etc.

Been into the garage 4/5 times over our time with it. Each time a sensor is replaced (supposedly!).
My son and I even once replaced them all ourselves to try and resolve it once and for all.

Last repair was fortnight ago.
At weekend, light came in again. This time it is sporadic.
If the light is not on, the ABS is firing constantly (so at least it works!).
When the light comes on, the car brakes normally, but obviously shows the fault.

Any ideas?
Reading through the posts, I saw one suggested water ingress into the control module. Ed’s looks dry, but you never know!

Thank you in advance of your knowledge to come!

Have you actually inspected the module?...tbh I dont if they are plug and play or need coding to the car BUT I'd be tempted to replace it..

Just to let you know, this time they have replaced a wheel bearing.
It was slightly “out of line” apparently, which was messing with the sensor.

Oh well fingers crossed again!
