Hey guys.
So while installing new wheel bearings, I had to break the ABS speed sensor as it was rusted stuck.
I've since replaced it, but the errors are still there: Abs, hill assist and ASR.

How do I go by removing this?
Do I need an obd2 scanner, and if so, which one will work? Not looking for a expensive solution, I bought the car quite cheap.

Cheers

I don't know any way to do it "properly" without a scanner. Of course there are loads of cheap options on ebay but I think you're going to need more than just an eobd which will probably only address the common engine/emissions related codes. Also if you buy a "cheapie" be prepared to join the disappointed queue of people on here who, from time to time, tell us all about how their bargain buy has failed to please.

Personally I wouldn't go past Multiecuscan. It can be surprisingly affordable if you tailor it specifically to what you want to access. Then later you can buy additional interfaces. I would encourage you to give Grant at Gendan a ring and talk it over with him. He won't pressure you into anything and he really knows what he's talking about.

A lot of us on here have it so there's lots of "little grey cells" waiting to help you.
