Can someone telling me more about Dualogic reliability. My sister have one on her Grande Punto 2007, which is now cover at 193,000 miles, so many problem in the past that I have put it in right she is very lucky to have me to fix for free, sensor failed which she can't put in 1st gear from neutral, few years later she used the semi- manual which is stuck on the 5th gear it can't be change down to 4th AA had to towed to home, the issue is the motor pump fail it has been replaced and the shift that disengage when the gear is go in and it won't go back engage due the ECU control module for dualogic was damp inside it went haywire. Two years later now she said that it start to slip in the 3rd gear up the hill, I did bit of a search if they do sell clutch kit but none is being sold on Eurocarparts, Carparts4less and Motor Parts Direct with the reg number!
So I thought I better go to Fiat dealer (Colchester) pretend to buy from them and see how much it will cost, they said we don't do sell clutch for Grande Punto 1.3 anymore it is discontinued! I thought it can't be because other like the Qubo still have the same transmission, I think that guy is dopey don't ever know what they were talking about.
are they still make that clutch or not? I can't see on eBay for new clutch??

My sister felt that Dualogic has put her on too much trouble, she said would love to buy Fiat 500 if the Dualogic are different what she has on it?

I have had a Punto 1.2 CVT, Honda Jazz, Nissan Micra and Nissan Note automatic in the past I have never had a such so irritate:bang: huge problem with Fiat's dualogic!

Hi again.

CVT..? Ford and FIAT developed CVT in France..@1984 vacuum control

Nissan etc joined for Generation2 electronic control

Emissions meant a robotised manual was better..

The DSG apparently is not much better than FIAT :Alfa system circa 1996

I did a bit more of search, it mentioned that the manual clutch are same for the Dualogic.

I am not sure if it is right?

Dualogic is just a robot that sits on top of the gearbox. Beside that, all components are the same !

Fiat issued the 6 speeds dual clutch gearbox late 2014 for the "yogurt pot" 50th anniversary, at least for the Abarth version...
So if willing to buy a second hand, one better double check what GB is installed !
