Hi...

Over the year's i've noticed that fewer and fewer of the heated strips in my tailgate window are working. I think there are about 4 which heat up now.

Is this a case of a new tailgate?

Also, the tailgate water jet does not shoot water out. The pump makes a noise but i've no idea where the water is going.

The water usually gets in the tailgate itself, you should inspect the rubber thingy near the hinge. Regarding the defroster there are repair kits available almost everywhere ...
