So, I installed a new H4 highlight beam, which works just fine, but is currently held in place by a wad of paper :D The reason being, the retaining hook seems to have snapped (circled in red in the pic).

Does anyone have some good tricks on how to get the retaining clip to stay without the hook? I think I might upgrade to a ball of duct tape during the weekend, in case the backside gets hot and could heat up the paper :)

Right now it is basically:

[ O 0-=>

So, the plastic/rubber(?) cap, a ball of paper, and the plastic wiring thingy.

I would secure it with a self taping screw at an angle to get positive lock ...

Hello,
Did you find any solution?
I have the same problem too..

Me too. The small clip is missing and the bulb doesn't stay in place. This results in bulbs being rattled and destroyed.

Thanks
