Another info - so finaly I know all "sounds" from the engine. Guilty was cylinder number 2. There was (and partialy probably still is) clogged/baked oil ring on the piston, or small oil output holes in piston, or both. Before (except of ticking) I also noticed "squeaking" from engine on idle, but I didnt know what it caused - if camshaft or crankshaft or what. Now squeaking is almost gone, but I have to listen idle again from cold start to operational temp. That's why also kerosene+WD-40 mixture didn't drain down completely, against other three cylinders. So I'll listen engine if there is still some "squeaking". If yes, I'll remove spark plug and again add to cylinder some penetration/cleaning fluid(s). Now all noises makes sense to me.
I think somebody thought before that ticking is caused by any valve, that'a why they changed exhaust (and maybe also intake) valve. But ticking was caused by that baked oil o-ring = small piston slap

Finaly I can "close this case". All I do through next years is using oil flush additive before oil replacement and that's all

Dont remember if I mentioned small oil leak somewhere between engine and gearbox. Looks that its engine oil, not gearbox oil. Its leaking like tiny film on oil pan and going down to oil plug. When I clean it all with rag, that tiny film is there back after 1 week. No oil drop on the ground. Looks also that its rpm related - when I hit the ground with gas pedal, then smell burned oil in the interior.
Info - oil sump was out 2 times before by mechanic, when he changed main crankshaft seal, and then another mechanic 2nd time, when they changed also 2nd crank seal on flywheel side. So I dont expect that seal is damaged...but I think that they applied smaller amount of silicon on oil pan in that area. Maybe they somehow scratched surface on engine block when they tried to get oil pan out...
Question - Do I need to disconnect exhaust, when I want to take away that metal plate, which is holding exhaust? I dont know how its called...the metal plate between engine block and gearbox...it holds on 5 or 6 screws, and its also holding exhaust pipe with bracket. Can I take it away somehow "near exhaust" without disconnecting it?
My stupid plan is to apply additional silicone to the edge between oil pan and engine block...I dont know how - with finger? Or some plastic card? And then tighten two nuts whose hold oil pan in corners (8 or 10mm nuts...I dont know). Maybe they didnt tight one of those nuts properly...
Or another plan - wait till next oil change 1 year, and then to replace oil sump and exhaust?
Hmmm I think I replied to myself with last sentence :)

Guys, I dont know where to post this...does anybody know why there are holes in plastic? Is it for some engine cover? Or is there something missing on my Punto?

I've never seen anything mounted there.
Search with Google-pictures, "grande punto engine bay". There is nothing there.

PS
You've missed one "ear", at the bottom of the picture. There are 5 or 6 of those total.

Yes I googled before I posted it here, but nothing found. Strange that it's there but for...nothing :) I also saw on another Puntos/Grande puntos some plastic piece (like plastic stripe) at the bottom of front bumper, which is also missing on mine. I have holes there too but that part is missing
