Hi,
Sice a few months ago, my car started to do weird vibrations if I turned the steering wheel to the right (not to the left) and today I have found that if I turn the steering wheel fast the OBD adapter reads the steering wheel assist is not available and shows up the DTC U0001 (high speed C-CAN error "intermitent error").

Could it be the steering wheel column?

I would suggest its the electric motor on its way out. The are easy enough to replace,either follow the how too/guide on here or the short version explained within the following comments.
Second hand or reconditioned ..just make sure they are both have the same numbers and its plug and play.
