Punto Grande Sound 2010. The heater control knob has seized on cold and stuck and will not turn. The heater speed control and position knob are both working fine. Any ideas please ?

The dashboard was updated between the grande. And later models 2010

The knob pulls a cable that moves a flap in the dash..
So a jammed flap is a possibility.

223508548908 this is the item number on Ebay which is the style of controls. It's the left hand side knob which had seized. Regards

So ..

Trace the operating cable..

Free it off..

see if knob turns on its own
