Hi,

When replacing the bulbs behind the heater controls, I broke the clear plastic that goes around the lights and to the buttons and controls meaning they are not all illuminated. Does anyone know the name of the piece. Will I have more luck in just buying a whole control unit?

Thanks :)

You’ll have to buy the whole piece, the heater controls are sold as one unit, you’ll find it impossible to get a replacement for one of the bits inside.

That said if it’s just a piece of clear plastic that carries the light to all the parts of the dials then you should be able to more or less fix this with a drop of superglue

Thanks much, have all pieces in cup holder so will have a crack at it

Do NOT superglue them: cyanocrilat adhesive tend to turn white while drying so thay can potentialy block (or attenuate) the light transmission ...

Use UV Resin instead: you'll have plenty of time to position and secure (clamp) the parts before insolating them. Can be found in any hardware store and even supermarket ...

BRs, Bernie
