I have question about MAP sensor Bosch 0261230052 that is mounted on plastic plate holding intake manifold to head. There are just hole, no hose or something else. Is that right or something missing there? What is Bosch 0261230052 function?

MAP sensor at picture above is same as "how to" link that you offer me. My question is about sensor at my first post. According BOSH part number it is MAP sensor too.

That's the ambient pressure sensor.

ECUs need to know both manifold pressure and ambient pressure in order to correctly compensate for altitude/temp..etc.

Some ECUs have the ambient pressure sensor built into them. Not sure about yours, but Bernie is probably right.
