Had to buy a new back box for the 1.2 8v, tried to find the cheapest one and looks like it was cheap for a reason, It’s a regal branded one and its brand new, so after fitting it and letting the paste set I decided to test it, Got it off a seller on eBay called ClickCarParts, I’ll attach a link to show you the video I took, Buy cheap buy twice, he’s sold 173 so I thought maybe there decent but they leak, don’t make the mistake I made https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https://www.ebay.co.uk/ulk/itm/190859103472

Have contacted him? You could show him the video. Failing a resolution take it up with ebay.

Yeah contacted him, he’s offering to collect it at his cost, but the issue I’ve got is the car will be off the road till they resolve it,

Ach! at least you have a result. I tend to buy the likes of zorsts/batteries at my local motor factor, any problems & easily remedied. E bay is Russian roulette at times.

Cheap after market exhausts will never be made to the same quality as the OEM exhaust. My Bravo is still running the original exhaust after 12 years now. Blowing a bit now but can be fixed with exhaust repair putty and silencer wrap.

In all the years I have been driving it has taught me to go for OEM parts as the cheaper option works out as a false economy unless you are not planning on keeping the vehicle long.

Agreed, although I do buy aftermarket mostly, you live and learn what stuff not to scrimp on.

The flexpipe on my GP's (probably original) exhaust failed a few months ago, and I got it sorted cheaply at the local HiQ who replaced the whole exhaust with cheap aftermarket parts. It's not as noisy as it was, but certainly not as quiet as the original was..

Probably original silencer is double-plated and cheap aftermarket's not...that's why they are not silent and sometimes also don't seal...
