Hi

As the title states,
Steering wheel controls stopped working all of a sudden the other day,
Also have the airbag failure message and horn not working too,
Can anyone tell me the location of the connections
Thanks

Ugh, that's gonna be a pain,
I'll check it out on the weekend,

Cheers mate

well, not really if you know the tricks...

- disconnect battery (earth is enough)
- insert ignition key (to free steering wheel lock)
- adjust the wheel down and toward you (if applicable)
- position the wheel @ 3 o'clock
- behind it, in the left (now on top) branch you'll find a hole
- insert a flat 2-2,5mm screwdriver and pry the spring located in the hole while pulling the airbag/horn
- once the clip is released from the spring, the airbag will slightly pop-off
- position the wheel @ 9 o-clock
- release the second clip
- return the wheel to 0°
- earth yourself to ground (ESD wrist is a good idea)
- remove and disconnect the airbag, store it in a safe place
- disconnect other connector(s)
- remove the central locking nut or screw
- remove the wheel

The main difficulty is to "feel" the locking spring. Unfortunately I don't have any picture of it from inside but I'm sure you'll manage their release!

when you will get another stalk be sure it's close to center or else you will break the wire inside

One of the steps says "return the wheel to 0°" ...

I believe a new clock-spring or stalk assy will come with a lock-pin that needs to be removed during installation.
