I had the CD but it seems like I lost it. Now I'm searching for the ISO online and the only versions I've got are the ones without the 1.4 t-jet. :bang:

Is there anyone with that version?

Hi, I'm having problems with downloading eLearn. It starts the process, then it just hangs there. After 30 minutes, I have to exit and start again, eating into my data!
Could you help with a link to Grande Punto mk1 1.4 8v, please? 2006 year 5 door model
Thanks!
Ed

Hi Ed,

what kind of info would you like to get? I could grab some for you if it's an urgent matter ...

BRs, Bernie

If someone here helped You fix -or better, understand- your issue, hit the thanks icon @ bottom right corner, it's free and makes us feel helpy ;-)

Hi Bernie,
Thanks for offer. Any chance of a detailed (pictural) workshop manual that I can access easily?

Hi cmosfxx,
Your a star! Thanks for tech data, much appreciated.
Now to access a workshop manual. I can only partially access a 1.2 workshop manual and a vvt head.
Very frustrating
Need to get car fixed before our winter sets in.

1.2 VVT? I thought 1.4 only were set with variable timing ...
Anyway, what issue are you facing with your car? eLearn is structured by procedure(s), not really a workshop manual with step by step 'how to' but as I proposed earlier I can extract what you need (not 200 pages...)

Need 1.4 8v, mk1 2006 info to do the top. Gas tested positive, planning to do a service exchange. Not sure of cambelt timing.

Hi Bernie,
The link refers to earlier Mk 1 versions. Ours is a 2006 Mk1 5 door version. Could you find a link, please?
Thank you,
Ed

hold on, working on it, could take few hours more since dinning time has come ...

Cheers, Bernie

Ed, are you talking about a MK1 or a Grande ?

Bernie

Bernie,
According to the handbook, it's a 2006 1.4 8v Grande Punto Dynamic.
What is the difference between the MK1 and Grande?
Would there be any relevant code in the Engine Number/VIN Number? I'm reluctant to post the complete numbers on the forum.

Ed

Hi Ed,

mk1 is for the previous make of Punto's (before the "Grande") and was physically smaller, why the new name ;-)
As far as I know, but I might be wrong, all t-jets are 1.4 16V and not 8V, so either your engine has 16V or it's not a t-jet ...
Send me your VIN by PM and I'll check for you.

Hi,
Not a t-jet. Had a look at the Haynes manual, ours is definately the bigger body. The registration papers are 1.4 8v. Went to the closest Fiat spares supplier, checked the VIN number there. Definately 1.4 8v GP. Unfortunately, the chap there could not help me with a workshop manual, suggested I search Internet.

My appolgies to the OP for hijacking his post!

Ed
