The aircon compressor will also not do anything if the gas has all leaked out, it could be you’ve been unlucky and a pipe or join has burst or leaks suddenly, a stone or corrosion has damaged the condenser, but basically no gas = no cold air but the aircon button will still turn the light on and off.

Got the original part back in and A/C is now fully functional!
So it appears that they are not identical after all (white one is FIAT original)...

I have problem with a/c, compressor is good, system has gas in it, cooler is working in perfect order. But my GP sometimes blows cold air and it seems like all is good. But 80 % of time a/c is doing nothing. Does this resistor with 6 pols can have something with it ? Or it's not for a/c at all. I can't find too much info. My car is equipped with dual zone a/c.

Dual zone is automated..
It doesnt use a 'standard fan resistor pack'...

What is this 6 pole unit

PWM..?

I saw on many shops resistors like up on this thread for dual zone automatic/climate gp.

PWM is what ? What you think it's problem with my case ?

In Vipers example
Shop4parts supplied a working replacement

With the correct part number :)

I've been through the same. The connections were melted, so I changed the "resistor" and connections. Now the fan is running, but no air comes out. I tried to detach the whole thing, and it seems that it's running in the wrong direction. I followed the color code of the cables when installing the new connections, so I'm a little confused. Any good ideas?:bang:

I know this was a few years ago, but hoping you might still be able to help! I’ve had the same issue (fan stopped running). One of the plugs on the ‘resistor’ block looks to have melted through the plastic. I’m gonna change the unit but wanted to change the plug too. Where do you get your replacements from? Only ident I can find is Lear13902DE and can’t find them anywhere!
