Hi guys, nice to join the forum.

Bought my car a few weeks ago - fiat grande punto 58 plate. The trip computer displaying mileage and stuff wasn't working when I took it home (somehow didn't realise when test driving it). Then a week after maybe, the stereo/radio stopped working - think my friend tried to plug something into the windows usb port in glove compartment and it stopped working. Not sure if that had anything to do with it. Anyway the main problems are as so.

Firstly, the car wouldn't start a few days later but once I held the key down it started 30 seconds later - since then it's been fine for starting. I stopped off at a shop today, went in for 15 mins and then when i got out and tried to start the car up nothing at all was happening. It made that clicking noise which obviously lead me to believe it's the battery. Was calling people to try and get advice and in that time I tried it a few more times. Then 15 minutes later tried it once more and it started.

THEN whilst reversing out of my space at the shop, when I turned the wheel there kind of felt like a crunch when I turned it back to straight from left hand down. I then noticed that the red steering warning light on my punto was on.

So just wondering if these problems are related and if anyone could guide me that'd be great.
