Technical Led front side light & number plate lights

Hi all , I've bought some error free led 501 bulbs and I put one in and all is good , put a 2nd in and the light out warning is triggered !! That's before I put the plate bulbs in !! I know that it's the low current draw that's doing it and it needs extra resistors but my question is , does anyone use an led that doesn't need an extra resistor in their car ?? Cheers

You do know it's illegal to replace exterior filament bulbs (exception is reversing light) with LEDs?

Yes I know that but I'm sure I'm not the only person who wants to use them in the side lights

Seems you need what are known as CAN error free bulbs
