Technical Window washer stalk

Hej guys. New to forum. Just got my second GP and have an issue with the window wiper stalk. It does not clean the window when you lift the stalk up for one time clean. When you turn the other functions, it works, even the back window function. What could be the issue? dead contact?

TBH I have no real answer for you ...BUT I have an intermitent fault with the indicater stalk,when its cold it sometimes works,sometimes doesnt ...its a common fault.
Remedy..air bag off and replacement complete unit.

The way the stalk work is by using different combination of resistors to provide the different voltages to the BCM, which will undestand what command driver wishes to execute. Bad contact or bad internal resistor for this 'one click cleaning' and the fonction will not work ...
