Tommorows the day I have been dreading...cars sat on my drive with the battery off waiting for me to change the indicator stalk in the morning...
Anyone got any wise words of advice???

Well..five minutes in and the door swings shut leaving both keys in the car..doors half open but wont open and Im considering smashing a window..

The door closing strategy is such as the locks shouldn't be activated if a door is not fully closed, so unless you disconnected the battery AFTER closing and locking the doors, you should be able to open them ...
I just opened the bonnet on my car, set the door half-way closed (lock engaged on "first hook") and disconnected the battery: no problem to open the door .
Have you tried to completely close it ??

BRs, Bernie

Battery taken off last night..it was partially open and now after closing it it wont open at all...is there a way to access to bonnet catch when its closed?..maybe putting the battery back on might help...Im close to smashing a window tbh

Finally got the bonnet open..lifted the car fronm drivers s ide and pulled the cable..
Is there any way to open the doors by pulling a fuse etc?..

I'm afraid there is no way, you need to access the Body Computer which is in the dashboard (near the glove box) :-(

Let me have a look @ my car and see what could be done ...

Thanks Bernie ..BUT..my brother happened to drop round and 15 minuteslater it was open.
He used the two wooden spatulas I used and a wooden door wedge to effectively wedge the door open enough to get a bamboo cane with a hook on the end to pull it out of the ignition..
Happy yo have it open and off my drive, for now.
Thanks for your help.:):)
