Earth faults and starters has been covered massively on this forum as it affects almost all fiats, its usually an engine earth, the earth wire from the battery to the car body and the front of the gearbox. This wire breaks or corrodes and the car won't start despite everything seemingly being ok.

There are earth points all over the car and depending on the fault you're having depends on where you need to look, better to start a thread explaining the problem you're having then someone can point you in the right direction.
