Hi!

I'm in a fight against blue badges :bang: , the only one remaining in my GP is the steering wheel badge and it drives me crazy.

However, i find out newer modells came with red badge steering wheels.
Can i change my old ones to them with no problems?

In the photo the only difference is that plug in the center. What could it be?
Also, if i change the airbag to a new one, is there any ecu teaching needed ?

Red badge OEM number: 07355162010

I hope somebody did this at some point, it would be awesome to swap.

Well,

Based on the photos you posted the Blue badge airbag has two connectors and the red only has one. I'd say no you can't fit a later red badge airbag.

Out of interest, why does the older type have 2 connectors, whereas the later type only have 1?

Wouldn't it be easier to prise off the old badge and stick on a new red one?
