Hi, more gremlins. Thought she was mot ready but noooo.

Issues, so far resolved
* none start immobiliser stuck on
* abs light on and failure warning on dash

ALL of above rectified by finding corroded pins in D connector of fuse box in engine bay.

Horn didn't work at first. Tested it with 12v and worked.

Headlights didn't work. Side lights and main beam do...

Now my issue is when I turn the head lights on, the horn comes on....
I've already changed over the clock spring, air bag( horn activator) and indicator/ light stalks...

Horn still does not sound from pressing airbag...

Any help appreciated...

Lost earth..

Not a common fault to be able to provide a link though.

IDEA: try unclamping the rake adjuster..and moving through a few arcs of movement.. could be a multiplug only just making contact.

Seen that before.. and its quick and cheap.

Hi Mike,

Q: does your headlight turn ON when trying to activate the horn ?

Looking at the schematics, there are three common area shared by both devices.

- connector A and D at the body computer (under the dash)
- connector B at the junction box (under the bonnet)

There could be also an internal short (jump) in the junction box or worn wires around the steering wheel ...

BRs, Bernie
