Hoping someone can clarify a few things for me!

I've got the 1.2 Active, beautiful car but slow. Really slow. Wheel spin is a myth and the thing revs like a bitch. The upper models of the GP, 1.4+ have ASR buttons next to the hazards, my poor thing doesn't.

If I were to hypothetically turn of this ASR, if my trim level even has the option, how would I go about it?

I've seen cars with fancy hidden ways of turning TC off. Something like, switching the headlights on, beeping twice, 3500rpm with Radio 3 on at 30 Volume at 3pm on a Wednesday morning?

From what I can tell it has ASR, but it's not an option to turn it off (why tf?)

Probably not a option because there virtualy no good reason to disable to disable it
Other then people wanting to drive around like an idiot

I think it's probably not an option because it's a slow model, but there are plenty of good reasons to disable it in the right circumstances!

Hi (who ?),

ASR is part of the ESP and as so available as an option ... Seems like you don't have the ASR button on your control panel, therefore the option is not present and obviously you can't disengage Something that doesn't exist.

Beside that there are MANY reasons why your car is ridding Grand-Pa style. Maybe it deserves some pampering and a visit to the garage ?

BRs, Bernie

:D:D aah yes this is the ricer mode.

ASR Anti-Slip Regulation reduces power sent to the wheels, so they do not spin on wot accelerations or slippery roads.

Very useful in general but sometimes you want raw power to the wheels.

For example you want ASR on wet roads but it may not perform the same on snow. Of course you don't want it on the race track etc because it limits the power.
