Hey guys,

My hill Hold stopped working the other day. I went to get the codes read and it's come up with the clutch switch.

I've ordered a new clutch switch, but in the mean time the ABS, ESP and TC has stopped working too. Not sure if it's related as have not yet scanned the codes. Either way, I need to replace the switch.

Does anyone know how?

Thanks,

Nick

Hi Nick,

if you can't access it, you'll have to remove the clutch pedal :-( , then un-plug, remove and replace ...

This seems like a complicated task that can go wrong. Am I better off taking this to a garage to do for me? I have the replacement part.

I changed the brake light switch on my T -Jet (also in an attempt to get rid of occasional "ABS/ESP unavailable")and that was quite easy. Didn't fix the fault. so a new clutch switch was my next thing to try. I had a look down there while I was changing the brake switch- access looked VERY difficult...........

I don't think you actually need to bleed them. It's literally just a switch behind the clutch pedal which I feel should just unplug.. Not sure what the whole calibration stuff is..
Hi Nick similar situation , how does that turned out? Is easy to remove?
