Hi All,

I've been driving about 4 months now (my first car is a Fiat punto - 2006). I've got 2 questions which google has not been much help answering so was hoping some of you on here might be able to help:

1: Replacement key

The Car only came with one key so I'm a bit scared about losing it etc and being in a lot of bother. I've tried sites like replace my key . com (sorry not allowed url's yet) but whenever I put my reg in it's not able to find any details. Does any one know where I can get new keys?

2: The boot opening mechanism

The only way I seem to be able to open the boot is via a button above the gear stick... this can be a bit of an inconvenience if I've got my hands full etc. (having to open the main door seems like a lot just to open the boot)
Is there any kind of fob I can get that would allow me to open the boot without having to enter the cab?

(on a side note - has any one tried to refit the locks on a punto so they are automatic and come with a fob? This is something I would be interested in doing)

Thanks for reading all :)

You can get a replacement key fob with lock/unlock/boot buttons. Only issue is cost. Due to the immobiliser they are quite expensive. I think it was £120 when I tried to get one.
