Hey guys I have one if those ones that I bet no one else has experienced but me. But hopefully can help.

1) When I turn on my heater I noticed ages go that it give a odd smell, not a stinky smell but more of a burnish smell,

2) Also when its on, from time to time it a popping / crackle sound (a single pop and crackle spaced out) happens also?

Does anyone have any ideas / suggestions on what I should check as im assuming I need to take the dash apart lol to look behind it

Well I assume so. When ur trying to warm up yourself in the car. So I turn the fan on 3 mark and set to warm

I'd be looking for leaves in the heater inlet as a start. Make sure the drain is clear too.

Thanks for advice. Sorry if not knowing much but do you know how to access these things?

Between the bonnet and screen is the scuttle panel.

Under and around there you will see the air inlet for the heater box.
