My Grande punto 1.3 90hp is due for next service which is at 48 months. It is 2013 model and odo is 35000KMS. I would like to know whether we need to replace timing chain as no clear info is given in manual.

I work for vauxhall and we use the 1300 diesel in alot of our cars. And 4th (80k for us) is the biggest service and doesn't require anything to do with chain.

If you check the service and warranty book it'll show you what is due when , it has done on all the fiats I've had.

not at 35k more like 250k

Thank you all for the reply. Now fiat technician in India is stating that a circular has been released to replace timing chain at 60000KMS.

No information given for multijet diesel. They have mentioned to replace timing belt of petrol only

As we use the 1.3 currently and have done for years we haven't had a Technical Service bulletin mentioning anything of the sort. If FIAT have found something maybe we will?
