Has anybody fitted a forge BOV onto their t-jet which has been modified?

Wondering if anybody has replaced the standard valve spring for one of the uprated ones forge do and if this has made a noticeable difference to the sound/ operation of the valve.

Have a look for a thread by sweex, I think there was a video of one fitted to his car. Didn't sound good IMO but it can be set up to recirculate like the standard valve. Unless you think the factory valve is leaking then there is not any real advantage.

Better of getting a forge actuator, just fitted one to mine and it holds boost better up the rev range.

They sound okay and I got it really cheap. Only reason I really have it to be honest. Just think it needs the spring changing as it seems to make a squeak at near peak boost possibly indicating the spring isn't up to scratch for the raised boost level after being remapped.

My standard actuator works fine, holds boost well and don't really want to shell out anymore money that I don't need to. but thanks anyway.
