Looking to purchase a fault code reader.
What system is it? OBD2.. MEMS3..
Any recommendations?

Hi,
The GP has OBD2 for basic codes plus CANBUS for advanced diagnostics. The best setup is a ELM 327 to USB interface and a PC (laptop) running Multiecuscan
www.multiecuscan.net
You will allso need a yellow (no. 3) adaptor lead for all modules.
MES is 50 euros for a full registered version.
Example interface is

Adaptor

or full set

Other sellers are available, but I've bought from these. Avoid cheap <£10 chinese interfaces, they have a design fault.
Any old laptop with Windows XP or higher will work OK.
