Just bought a 2006 Grande Punto, mileage 91k - not sure if timing belt has already been changed and not yet trawled through all of the 216 page user manual. I'm a real newbie here and advice appreciated, Branda

What engine is it?

At 91k if you are not sure then get it changed as that’s way past any of the scheduled dates/miles. That way you have the piece of mind.

Be aware that some of the GPs (1.3 mjt) have chain driven camshafts, no belt !!
