Hey guys have a grande Punto tjet 1.4 2009.

Just wondering if anyone has any info on how to change the tensioner?

Got a few.pics of.my setup. Any help would be great thanks again .

If you youtube search timing belt changes for grande punto's and fiat puntos , as removing the aux belt is part of the process you may get a better understanding of removing tensioner.

thanks everson38, i managed to get my aux belt tensioner removed in the end! as i mentioned in my DM, i couldn't get a hex bit and socket in there but i went and bought some hex keys and that did the trick with a 'cheater bar' on the end.

had some trouble with one of the lower engine mount bolts too but got there in the end.

now onto replacing the timing belt!
