Hey,

I recently bought a 59 plate Grande Punto GP, and the key it came with was in pretty bad shape. It functions perfectly, but there is minimal casing on it and the keyring hook is missing. I have however found a replacement key FOB case that requires me to transfer the internal circuit board, transponder, and battery, as well as the key blade. Does anybody know how difficult this is to do myself and how i'd go about doing it?

Thank you! :)

Ahhh forgot to mention, its the newer 500 style key. By the looks of your guide the process doesn't look too difficult so Ill have a try with mine.

I've got a bravo/500 key cover from aliexpresses.

Has been OK for over 6 months. well worth the 3 euro.
Not that hard to replace.
Not the same feel as the original (less rubbery more plastic), and some small amount of cutting of one of the spring was involved, it was pulling the cover apart. it's fine now.
