I own a fiat grande punto 2006 1.9 td multi jet. 199


My car went into the garage to have the flexi part of the exhaust replaced as corroded. But 3 times now (with all different suppliers) sent the wrong part, the part will fit but is quite a lot smaller in diameter.


The garage is refusing to fit the part as they do not know if it will cause any negative effect to the turbo or the performance of the car.


Has any one else had a smaller diameter flexi part of the exhaust fitted with no bad effects ?
Or where can I get a compatible part.

Some can be a little different on the flange but the length should be the same.

Dont fit it, use eper and pin point your part number using your vin.

I will have a look now. They done my back box but somehow really can not source the correct part for some reason. they told me to go direct to fiat but want advice from here first .
