Recently I purchased myself a leather steering wheel cover which you have to sow to the steering wheel, the reason for this was the dodgy man made leather fiat use for the Active Sport trim of the fiat grande punto which had began peeling a lot.

This steering wheel cover was a pain to fit but looked fairly good soI made a second order from the same company for a gearstick gaiter and knob. Again I was impressed with the quality of leather they provide (hand-crafted italian leather) and despite the pain I had the endure fitting this upholstery it was worth it in the end imo.

If you're interested in replacing the leather trims on you steering wheel and gearstick knob and/or interested in replacing your gaiter, lartepelle are great and have a bunch of variety! You can reach them at [email protected] which is how I made my second order which their freindly staff were more than happy to help with.

The only downside to all of this was that I didn't receive any instructions on how to fit these products so good luck if you do invest and fit this yourself! Have a look at the photos attached for more detail if you're considering doing this.

I bought each product separately, I'm pretty sure they do it in blue might be worth checking on their website. You can choose the colour of stitching also! Steering wheel cover was €45, gaiter €23, knob €15, let me know if you need any tips!

Brownystar, just had a look and it seems they do two different types of blue leather, you can also get blue stitching if that's your kind of thing!
Thanks m8 I'm after blue as the dash and seats in my car are light blue. And the car is metallic dark blue so want keep the colour theme.

Website isn't super easy to use, if you email them you can ask for the Gear knob, gaiter and steering wheel cover and they'll add it up and then you can pay via PayPal!

The website is Italian but near the top is an option to make it English, the customer service was English too.

I think the cornflower colour is nice if you're going for blue! Be careful as well as there are two types of steering wheel covers, ones perforated by the handles and the other is plain all round (like mine).

I removed the previous leather but the back of the steering wheel cover was a bit dodge (see photos) may be best to leave it on not sure (personal preference).

Also hard to explain but when you remove the original cover there are four gaps in the rubber where the original cover slotted in, you may want to get some rubber filler and fill them in before installing the new cover otherwise you get dimples like those in mine.

Oh and use glue, it will be your best friend...
