I have an issue with the steering on my 2006 1.2 multi jet, it steers fine and there are no warning lights or codes stored however when I press the city button the light comes on but if I do iThis when driving it makes no difference to the steering until I slow down, when I get under 10 mph it goes very light then if I speed up it reverts to 'normal' feel when I stop if I turn from lock to lock it's very light, then goes away when I move off. Is this common or is it a problem that I can clear by resetting something?

What you described is very normal, this is how it's supposed to behave, it wouldn't be safe at all to have featherweight steering at high speeds.

I think the city steering shoul only work up to 14mph you would not want the steering to be that light over 14mph.

If you search the forum you'll see a lot of threads on power steering. Usually doesn't seem a good idea to use City Steering as far as I can see if you want to avoid problems
