Technical How to remove boot trim?

Has anyone removed the large plastic cover that is in the boot space under the tailgate? I can see that there are two screws to remove, however there also looks to be a star shaped circular thing that needs removing and I am also concerned that I may damage the large rubber seal around the bottom of the tailgate. Any advice appreciated.

remove 2 screws...

remove rubber seal (by pulling it upwards (make mental note of how it sits over trim)

undo torx bolt (where boot spring sits )

then pull trim upwards as its held in by about 6 friction clips
