Technical very low clutch bite

hi, we have a 2007 GP 1.3 multijet, it had a new slave cylinder fitted before we bought it, but i think the pedal bits very low. I tried quickly bleeding it tonight, but it made no difference.

Has anyone got any pointers?

a high bite wold indicate clutch wear.
Low bite?!?!?! Clutch has air in it, You could also try replacing the brake fluid if it has not been replaced ever.
