Morning all

Where abouts in the engine bay is the drain out for the AC from the cabin?

I've a feeling mine needs clearing or unblocking, as the windows mist up shortly after turning off the AC, followed by that familiar damp smell that seems to linger in any car after the AC is turned off.

It's not in the engine bay, it's underneath the car, somewhere between the gear lever and the bottom gearbox mount, sometimes it can get blocked by the gear linkage cables and it causes the windows to fog up shortly after turning off the AC just like you said. Pull the cables to the side vigorously so you can be sure the drain doesn't get blocked again.

Looking at Mr Haynes book this morning, it seems that the drain actually lies beneath the clutch footrest, which should pull off (rearwards) after removing the one screw.
