Whenever it rains I'm getting a lot of water in the engine bay near / behind the battery. Thinks it's related to the foam(?) Pad at the top shifting and the seal being worn.

When it rains everything seems to funnel down this one corner, onto the pipes/wires.

Any ideas?

have you checked the drainage hole behind the foam they get clogged up and blocked and can also lead to water in the car good place to start if you pour water over the windscreen it should come out under the wheel arch not over the top of the foam (y)
