Ive got the old version of B&M in my 1.9 56 Plate Grande Punto.

To connect my phone so I can stream music, would this work?

I've seen it mentioned quite a few times in various threads, however on the listing it says not for B&M models.

Don't fancy doing the silent mp3 trick, so this would be ideal if it works.

I just ordered this one and fitted it in my car (07 Grande Punto, the radio is without B&M) - as far as I understood, the yellow one fits only the cars without B&M function, there is another one that it's for B&M, however, I would recommend you not to order this one, especially if it's says that it's not supporting the B&M, as it may turn out that it won't fit.

Received my cable this morning, and thats where the good news stops! Really hoping for some of your knowledge please!

Took the radio out and the yellow side was in use.



Managed to alter the fitting of the cable I received to fir the other side, where there was an empty blue connector. Turned the HU on, however when I pressed CD it just said "No Source Available". Tried cycling through settings but no joy.

This is the diagram on top of my HU.



I then thought if I pulled the 3 cables out of the cable I received, I could put them in the blue block, as thats a proper fit. However the cables snapped, so will need to go an get some connector spades.



Know I know the red went in the middle, just need to work out which way the other to went.....and whether this will work.

Looks like im going to have to admit defeat on this and give up.

I'm sure I used to see an "Aux" option on my HU, but then i've had a few Grande Puntos so could be getting mixed up - either that or its vanished on mine.

Suppose the next option is to look at getting an aftermarket HU, bit drastic just so I can stream from my phone! Tried a FM transmitter but wasn't that good.

Does anyone know of the max size HU you can get that will fit nicely?
