Hi guys, after getting a quote to refurbish 4 wheels I almost fell over backwards. It was worth buying a new set of alloys for the pennies they were trying to squeeze out of me, so I thought how hard can it be? Well, 2 days and £37 later... What do you think?

Thanks pal. I started about 14:00 and got all wheels filled and sanded and 1 wheel primed and painted. Finished about 18:00 that day and then started again the following day about 10:00 and primed and sprayed the following 3 wheels and finished about 17:00. No longer than 2 full days.

Been looking at some second hand alloys and doing this very job myself due to the cost of a full refurb being more than the wheels !!

Now might consider it even more

It's also a good wee business if you have some spare time. Buy second hand damaged alloys, refurb them and sell them on for 3 times the amount!

Hi guys, sorry for the late reply. I don't get any notifications? ? I can't remember what I used but it was basic metal filler from halfords, halfords own primer and satin black finish. Fill, sand, spray. ?
