Hi all,

Yesterday i finally had a stage 1 remap done on my 1.4 Sporting T-Jet, and WOW! What a huge difference it has made to the car and if anybody has a T-Jet, then this is certainly something which needs doing to the car. It's like driving a new car, the torque is unbelievable from 1 .4 turbo.

Also have a K&N replacement filter, 35mm lowering springs and EBC brake disc and pad sets on order, which will be fitted this weekend i hope!

Then just need alloys repaired and sprayed black and then i will be happy.... for now

So i was just wondering what everyone else thinks could come next either performance or visual wise?

Hastings premier, and I've emailed them asking for a quote on the increase before I put the springs on, the brakes and air filter are not classed as modifications, as they air Re replacement parts and the remap I'm debating whether to tell them

Tell them about the remap. If you don't, have a prang they will look at every way to void your insurance. Please tell them. It nay only be a few quid or £0 if you had a bump and insurance invalidated. If accident, third party injured and you now uninsured, then you could fr working the rest of your life to pay injured the compensation. Also then police involvement and the most I,portent one of all, your own conscience. What would you e pet if this gap owned to you or a lived one? Is it worth it for say 4 tanks of petrol?
