Technical Boost pressure?

My turbo is not kicking in, I took the pipe off from the vacuum pump to the boost control sensor and there is quite a good suction but from the boost control sensor to the electronic turbo actuator there doesn't seem to be as much, The pipe appears to be clear and the pipe doesn't seem to be leaking. Can anyone tell me if the vacuum pump should be giving me loads of suction or just a bit. Thanks Mark

Not an expert but is it boosting when it's not supposed to. If so it maybe the boost control solenoid. Generally 2 maybe 3 if it's a variable geomatry item. Hopefully someone with better knowledge than I will be able to help you out.
