Please somebody tell me you can help, I have a random beeping noise I have not yet found a sequence or repetition it is just random, I have found a lot that answers the question on autos but mine is a manual, this noise is driving me insane

When it happens is there anything on screen?
How often does it happen?

No lights come on and no messages come up and it is completely random some times it's going nuts and then some times it might not do it for ages.

Have you got the speed alert turned on?

no its turned off and the buzzer volume is on 0 as well, this morning I found where the noise is coming from there is a little black box in front of my left rear light and its beeping but I don't know what that is? and still have no idea of why.

do you have rear parking sensors?..i ask as I have aftermarket ones on another car and they can randomly beep/alert to distances(or the rain!)

no I don't and I am glad that sounds even more annoying :L

Take a photo of the box, any numbers on it?

:idear a cheap towbar electric set-up ( bike rack board)

It does have the mounts for a detachable tow bar that could be possible and the box doesn't have an markings on.

See if it's got "scothlok" electrical connectors.. if so.. just prise them open and undo the wiring to the box..,
